Policies

The Harbourside Inn Policies

 

 

PETS: We are a pet-free building.

 

GUESTS: Additional guests are not permitted to stay in rooms. Only guests that have checked in or made a reservation are permitted to stay on the property.

Laundry is available upon request.

The use of our kitchen is off limits to all guests. Please do NOT help yourself to any of our belongings in the kitchen. Should you need something please ask.

We ask that guests be mindful when using luggage racks, please make sure that wheels do not damage the walls.

 

GUESTS BELONGINGS: Guests are requested to lock the door of their room when going out. The management will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss/ or damage to the guest's belongings or any other property from the room or any other part of the Inn for any cause whatsoever including theft.

 

DEPARTURE: Check out is 11am. Late check out extensions will be given depending on availability. On failure of the guest to vacate the room expiry the management shall have the right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the room occupied by the guest.

 

DAMAGE: Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible for. If damage occurs the guest can be charged up to $500 for repairs or replacement.

 

SMOKING: We are a smoke-free building. This prohibits all smoking of any substances, including the use of electronic cigarettes, vaporizers or marijuana in all guest rooms, and decks. We have designated smoking areas provided for guests. A $250 charge will be added if damage is caused to the room or set off fire alarms.

 

DRUGS & ALCOHOL: We are committed to fostering an environment that is free of drugs and alcohol, except where sold and consumed in a licensed restaurant or in guests' room. We have zero tolerance for the abuse of any drugs or alcohol use which affects the health and well-being of its employees, guests, visitors or threatens the physical premises of the building. Alcohol is not permitted in the common areas of the Inn. Alcohol is only permitted in the guests’ room. ALCOHOL IS NOT PREMITTED OUTSIDE OF THE INN.

 

MANAGEMENT’S RIGHTS: It is agreed that all guests will conduct him/herself in a respectable manner and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the B&B. The Management has the right to request any guest to vacate his/her room or other areas of the Inn forthwith, without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In case of default, the management has the right to remove the guest luggage and belongings from the room occupied by him/her. IF REQUESTED TO VACATE THE PREMISES, NO REFUNDS WILL GIVEN FOR ANY REASON.

 

THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADD TO, OR ALTER OR AMEND ANY OF THE ABOVE TERMS, CONDITIONS AND RULES WHICH ARE A PART OF THE LODGING ACT.
